Methyl tin stabilizer uses

Methyl tin stabilizers are valuable chemicals that make products stronger and longer lasting. They do this in part by toughening PVC pipes. Water and other liquids flow through PVC pipes in many homes and buildings. By using pipes fitted with methyl tin stabilizer, they could be preserved from getting easily damaged, and so they have a long life.

Improving the weather resistance of PVC window profiles with methyl tin stabilizers

Methyl tin stabilizers also have a role to play in helping to make PVC window frames better, too. In windows the glass is held in place by a frame. They can wear out when they experience various weather such as rain, sun and wind. That’s because the PVC the window frames are made from are further processed with a plasticizer called methyl tin stabilizer which makes those frames much stronger than regular vinyl and reduces the wear and tear of weather.
