Light Stabilizer UV-119
Light Stabilizer UV-119
Features and Advantages
  • Compared to traditional HALS, third-generation HALS have reduced interactions with agricultural chemicals, fillers, pigments and other additives
  • It has excellent thermal oxygen and light stability in polyolefin, especially in talc filled PP and TPO
  • Non-discoloration, low volatility, extremely tolerant to migration
Product Application

TP-STABUV-119 is a polymerically hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) that is effective in a variety of polymers and applications. The advantages of this product make it particularly suitable for PE agricultural film, PP fiber and talc filled PP and TPO automotive parts. It can also be used in powder coatings, which not only bring about a motor-electric effect, but also bring about light stability. Depending on the use, UV-119 is generally added at levels between 0. 05 and 1%. Appropriate tests must be used to determine whether the amount added is appropriate for a particular application. The product shows synergies when used with other light stabilizers, including low molecular weight HALS (e. g. UV-770, UV-3853), high molecular weight HALS (especially UV-622), benzoic acid and UV absorbers.

Safety and protection

The packaging can be customized. No special safety equipment is required, according to the general chemicals cool, dry, ventilated storage, away from fire, heat sources, strong oxidants, strong reducing agents. It is recommended to take proper protective measures, try to avoid long-term contact with the product, and rinse with plenty of running water after contact with eyes or skin. Keep for 24 months under suitable storage conditions. Additional safety and operational information can be found in the TP-STAB UV-119 SDS.
