Calcium hydrate

Hey kids! And who of you ever yet heard of calcium hydrate? That is really just the fancy word for something that is quite important for our bodies. Now we will find out about one of these substances, and that is calcium hydrate and how necessary it is for us in keeping well and fit!

Our bones are a good place to start, too. Our bones are the human equivalent of the skeleton of the house that keeps it upright. Calcium hydrate also act as 'mating blocks' from which our bones are contructed for strength and are solid. We wouldn’t have strong bones, our bones would be weak and snap when we bent them without calcium hydrate in our bones we’d get something called osteoporosis. So that’s why we have to ensure that every single day there’s enough calcium hydrate for our sk-let-on troops to be strong and healthy.


The role of calcium hydrate in maintaining muscle function

But it also does other things in our bodies — for one, with our muscles. Our muscles need calcium hydrate in order to properly constrict and relax the way they are meant to: playing, running, jumping, moving around. Without enough calcium hydrate, our muscles seize up and become weak. So if we have sufficient calcium hydrate in our system, we will also have strong muscles that function properly!
