Antistatic Agent 190/SAS 93

It serves as an external lubricant in PVC, PS and thermoplastic engineering plastics, and has excellent demolding and flow-improving effects. The addition amount is 0.1% to 2.0%. It has extremely low volatility at high temperatures, so it is often used as a processing aid for high-melting-point thermoplastic engineering plastics, with a melting point of 220°C and a maximum processing temperature of 400 °C.

Application in PVC:

It is mainly used in opaque PVC calendered films, with an addition amount of 1.0 to 1.5%.

If transparent rigid PVC products are produced, the addition amount should not exceed 0.3%.

In the production of soft PVC, the addition amount is 1.0-2.0%.

The addition amount in PS is 1.5 to 2.0%. The addition amount in ABS is 1.5 to 2.5%. Due to the low softening point of this product, it cannot be dried and stirred simultaneously with the resin during processing. It is necessary to stir at high speed evenly after the resin is mixed in the last 2 to 5 minutes of the resin drying and stirring. It is essential to ensure uniform mixing while preventing the antistatic agent from adhering to the inner wall of the mixer, otherwise it will affect the antistatic effect of the product.

Keep away from heat. Keep away from sources of ignition. Empty containers pose a fire risk, evaporate the residue under a fume hood. Ground all equipment containing material. Do not breathe dust.
